Housekeeping Attendant

Cleaning & Presentation

Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation of all rooms including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchens and ancillary spaces; perform regular deep‑cleaning tasks as scheduled.

Laundry & Linen Management

Manage laundry operations for garments, bed linen and soft furnishings; ensure correct cleaning methods, sorting, pressing and folding; handle delicate and specialist textiles with appropriate care.

Room Preparation

Prepare and maintain guest rooms and en suites to household standards, including bed making, turndown service, replenishing amenities and checking room readiness prior to arrivals.

Stock Control & Ordering

Monitor and maintain housekeeping supplies and amenities; report inventory levels and assist with ordering to ensure uninterrupted service.

Care of Property & Valuables

Handle household items, artwork and valuables with care and discretion; report any damage or loss immediately to the Head of Household or Property Manager.

Health, Safety & Hygiene

Adhere to health & safety, infection control and safe handling procedures at all times; maintain cleanliness records and follow guidance on chemical use and storage.

Teamwork & Communication

Communicate effectively and discreetly with household staff and management; support colleagues across departments during events or periods of increased activity.

Flexibility & Additional Duties

Work flexibly to meet household needs, including occasional evenings, weekends and travel with the household when required; undertake additional duties reasonably requested to support smooth household operations.
